RELEASE: TSTA Congratulates 179th Class of DPS Recruits

(Round Rock, TX) – The Texas State Troopers Association (TSTA) proudly congratulates the newest graduates of the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Training Academy.

DPS held a ceremony in Austin today honoring Class B-2025, the department’s 179th graduating class.

‍

These graduates have completed months of demanding physical, tactical, and academic training, and now stand ready to serve Texans with courage and commitment.

“The graduates of Class B-2025 join a long tradition of excellence within DPS,” said Rohnnie Shaw, Executive Director of TSTA. “We commend them for their dedication and congratulate them on reaching this milestone. As they step into their roles with DPS, we wish them safety and success in the important work ahead protecting Texas communities.”
