RELEASE: TSTA CONGRATULATES 178th CLASS OF DPS RECRUITS

(Round Rock, TX) – The Texas State Troopers Association extends its heartfelt congratulations to today's graduating class of the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Training Academy.

DPS held a graduation ceremony for the recruits of Class A-2025 on Friday in Austin. This was the department’s 178th graduating class. 

‍

After months of intense physical and academic preparation, these recruits are now officially part of Texas’s frontline defense, ready to serve and protect communities across the state. TSTA Executive Director Rohnnie Shaw attended the ceremony to recognize their achievement.

“We commend these graduates for their perseverance and willingness to answer the call to public service,” said Shaw. “We’re proud to welcome them into the law enforcement community and we look forward to supporting them throughout their careers.”
