RELEASE: TSTA CELEBRATES DPS'S 90TH ANNIVERSARY

(Round Rock, TX) – The Texas State Troopers Association (TSTA) proudly joins the state in honoring the 90th anniversary of the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), founded on August 10, 1935.

Over the last nine decades, DPS has evolved into one of the nation’s most comprehensive public safety agencies, known not only for its leadership in law enforcement but also in divisions spanning the fields of cybersecurity, intelligence & counterterrorism, forensics, aviation, and more.

Its officers and staff, both past and present, have dedicated their lives and careers to protecting the people who call the great state of Texas home.
